Derek Bean is the Embedded Software Technical Business Development Manager and provides technical consulting for Avnet Embedded's software and services solutions. Derek has been with Avnet for seven years, during which he spent five years as a Xilinx, Intel and Microsoft Field Applications Engineer, prior to joining the Microsoft Business Development team. With more than 16 years of experience, much of it in a development environment, Derek brings a base of knowledge and experience in both hardware and software that customers can rely on. Derek is a Microsoft Windows Embedded Technical Red Belt.
